Polls are only valuable during 1 week???

    Hello

How do I determine the expiration date for a poll, please?

I try to set it at “never” (as in: NEVER expire) but after pressing the button ‘Save Poll’, it automatically switches back to 1 week!!
Only the option 1 month doesn’t change back … but when I make a poll, I want it to be optionable for ALL times as they are timeless questions (such as: best actor OR best movie, etc …)

PLEASE HELP ME!! I just wanna set the record straight – I just want the expiration date of my poll to be at NEVER. :)

    Many thanks!

    Bye for now

    Hi!

The expiration range you’re referring to doesn’t mean that your poll will expire; your poll will be available until you take it down off of your site. That is in place to prevent repeat voting. On the poll, you have the option to select how the poll will prevent repeat voters. You can set it to “Don’t Block” or a variation of using cookies or cookies and IP address. The expiration time is how long those blocks are going to remain in effect. So, after 1 month, the voting restriction would reset and someone could come back and vote again. Does that make sense?

This is explained a bit more here:

In short, that setting will not pull down your poll after a certain timeframe. It will just prevent repeat voters.
