Polls gone
-
This may be the wrong place to post this, but all my polls have suddenly disappeared from my Dashboard. They were there a few minutes ago, and now my Polldaddy account has mysteriously been disconnected and Polldaddy.com says I have no polls, making me suspect they’ve been erased somehow. I have not deleted anything (and nothing is in the Polldaddy trash), unless I unknowingly triggered some hidden keystroke to delete all the polls (I highly doubt it because I was editing a poll through the WordPress.com dashboard.
If it means anything, I clicked on “I already have a WordPress.com account!” from the Polldaddy sign-up page to sign in, so perhaps I accidentally replaced my account with a new one? If that’s the case, then there’s something wrong with the sign-up process. -
Although Polldaddy.com says I have no polls, all my old polls are still embedded in my posts. So far, anyway.

The same thing happened to me, and I am not very pleased. In fact, I’m downright pissed.
Can someone please answer this question?

Thanks for being so responsive.
I generally like to review the results of a poll for my readership regarding predictions I made at the beginning of the year and like to review them at the end of the year on December 31st. Not being able to access, let alone close, the poll is obviously a matter of great urgency for me as this post is one of the few annual staples of my blog. Hence my grumpiness and sense of urgency. For what it’s worth. ;-)

Staff deal with threads tagged for their attention in datestamp and time stamp order ie. first tagged – first served, as would be expected. Every time we post to this thread the timestamp moves forward. It’s in your best interest to stop posting and remain patient while Staff assist those who posted prior to this thread being tagged for Staff attention.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that I contacted Polldaddy support and they got it fixed. The account was linked to a different address because I switched my WordPress email account after creating my Polldaddy account.
Sean, I’d suggest contacting Polldaddy support as well. -
I just checked and they’re closed until January 2, which isn’t too far off, but when they open, this is the link:
http://polldaddy.com/feedback/ -
I also switched my email address on WordPress, which is now different, from my PollDaddy account. That is most likely the issue. If there is any way WordPress can fix this remotely since PollDaddy is closed that would be tremendously helpful. I’m pretty sure this is the problem.

I reached out to PollDaddy.com, and they said they would combine my new and old accounts. One day later, I still don’t have access.
Is there anything WordPress.com can do, because at this point, I fear the polling functionality is probably a lost cause?

@seanpatrickhazlett did you contact Polldaddy via their contact form here?
http://support.polldaddy.com/If so, have you received a response yet? If not, let me know.

I did contact PollDaddy.com via their form. The company responded several days ago asking if I’d like them to combine my old account linked to my prior email address with the new account (which is worthless without the old one). I replied in the affirmative, and several days later I still have no access to my old polls.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating.
