Polls versus Quiz versus?

    I have been asked to help with this website. I would like to add a poll or quiz. After looking up this topic it would seen that I can do this using a ‘shortcodes’. Here is an example of what I would like to include:

    Here is a hand. What would you bid?
    Option1
    Option2
    etc

    I am on the right track? Can I do this without a plugin but with ‘shortcodes’? Is so, which shortcode do you recommend?

    Hi Jeff,

    Shortcodes aren’t really used anymore, as the introduction of blocks have rendered them mostly obsolete. The few that are still left are gradually being replaced by blocks as the various plugins and themes across the WordPress ecosystem that made us of them get updated. If you found an online tutorial telling you to use a shortcode, that’s likely very outdated, and based on a much older version of WordPress :)

    On WordPress.com we offer direct integration with Crowdsignal, so you can add polls, quizzes and surveys to your site using the Crowdsignal block, as explained on the page @staartmees linked to above.
