Polls (via Polldaddy)
-
I ran a ‘2nd Annual Poll’ for a league that I participate in. Using the ‘poll’ button, I input nominees for awards that league players could select from. In the case of a given player who may have appeared in BOTH the ‘1st Annual Poll’ (last fall) and this year’s poll, it seems like the polldaddy mechanism may have tallied BOTH years’ voting for these repeat nominees. I cannot seem to confirm, or deny this tally-mechanism. Can anyone help answer this?

Hi there,
If you created a complete separate poll for the second poll there it should not be using data from the first poll. Each poll is completely separate from any other poll, with no data shared between them. Having an identical field in different polls doesn’t change this.
That said, I don’t see any polls titled 1st or 2nd Annual Poll on the site that you have indicated above, so I’m unable to check on the specific details. I also only have access to the information that appears in your WordPress.com dashboard. For help with the polls themselves it might be better to contact Polldaddy support directly:
