I am trying to create a multilingual website. I watched this tutorial which said to install the polylang plug in, which I can’t find. Help! Grazie!

a) Only the Business Plan has the possibility to add Google Analytics as an additional plugin. Otherwise we cannot add to the plugins that are already built in to the WordPress.com platform.You can read more about that here:

Thank you for your response. This may be a question to email wordpress about directly, but if I want to create two separate websites and link them (one in English and one in Spanish) and create a distinct domain name for each one, I’ll have to pay for two separate domain names, correct?

If you want two custom domains, the answer is yes.
If you want two regular domains (yourdomain.wordpress.com), the aswer is no. -
