Poor help to post large featured pic on first page – 3 months – no help

I chose Mystique and wanted to post a picture across the top as in the “Seed Pods” sample. I started on Jan. 14th and don’t know how to do this. It is April 15 – 3 months – NO ONE IN SUPPORT HAS EXPLAINED HOW TO DO THIS. This support deal is SO POOR. I even pd. 30$ for the custom help – no refund and NO clear communication. on this. HOW HARD IS THIS TO DO?

Hi, and sorry for your problems. The featured image (assigned to a sticky post) at the top of Mystique is 940px wide by 240px tall by default.

The custom header image for Mystique would appear above the menu and is 940px wide by 200px in height by default.

The header image can be made larger by utilizing CSS, but the featured image in the sticky post is far more difficult to make larger since the size of it is controlled within the theme files themselves.

If you wish to add the image as a header, can you let me know which image you wish to use (if you have already uploaded it) or upload it by going to Media > Add New and I can then work with that image and get the CSS code for you.

To see where the header image would be, visit my test site at http://flippintestblog.com/ and it is the red area above the menu.
