  Am I the only one getting almost zero CPM rates?
  I am getting a CPM rate of $0.01 or sometimes $0.00

  generally need to have tens of thousands of views per month to earn any meaningful income from advertising.

  Also, rates are vastly different depending on where the viewer is visiting. Some countries pay significantly more for impressions than others.

  North American ads payout at a much greater level than ads from other regions.

  Hi there,

  Those earnings are correct, and normal – you write primarily for Kenyan audiences, and over 86% of your site’s traffic is from Africa. That means US advertisers, who tend to pay more, simply aren’t bidding for ad space on your site.

  There’s not really anything you can do about this – which advertisers bid on ad space, and how much they bid, is primarily determined by why your site’s traffic comes from, so unless you want to change your site completely to start targeting US readers instead, this is pretty much the kind of earnings you can expect.
