Pop-up came up on my website when I clicked on my site neighbor7.home.blog

A pop up saying ‘your Norton antivirus has expired’ appeared on my site neighbor7.home.blog when I clicked on it just now. I do not have nor have I ever had Norton antivirus on my computer. My cousin said he experienced a similar issue when he clicked on my website.

Hi there,
Can you please grab a screenshot of your entire site that’s showing that message. I need it to understand if it’s an advertisement or if it’s a malware.
You can quickly grab a screenshot using https://snipboard.io/

Oh, to add a screenshot here you would need a link. You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/) and paste the link into your reply.
You can also upload it to your media library and let us know here, we can check it from there. -

This is definitely not from us, and that is definitely not a Norton domain.
I recommend scanning your computer for viruses and malware.

This has happened on both a Mac and an iPad yesterday and today.
I have not used the iPad in the past month and just turned it on to see if it was my computer or if there is an issue with my blog.
I have just scanned my computer using malwarebytes and no virus or malware was detected.I have not had this issue on any other site but neighbor7.home.blog
Could someone have attached malware to my blog site? -
Just now I clicked on my blog again and an adobe message popped up. I have. just taken a screen shot and uploaded it to my media for you to see.
I do not get pop-ups on any site but this one neighbor7.home.blog
Is there some way to get it off of my blog? -
That’s odd, I’m not able to see what you’re referring to in Safari, Firefox, and Vivaldi.
However, would you please let us know the following?
Your device/browser and operating system.
Your IP address (you can visit https://www.whatismyip.com/ if you don’t know how to find this)
The URL that the ads take you to.
The time and date the popups occurred.
Thanks!

A similar thing happened when my cousin visited my website several months ago. I contacted WordPress and it seemed to go away.

Thanks @pameladavis7. If you see that kind of thing, the report you gave above (IP, time, etc.) is helpful. We’ll pass it along to our ads team.

Thanks for the update. Our engineers are still looking into this issue but I do not have an update at this time. Thanks for your patience!
