Thank you so much for going through and getting that screenshot for me. :)
It looks like you’re having a conflict with a couple of our fonts. One of the other Happiness Engineers in the forums had a user with this issue as well. Here were the suggestions he got from our developers:
- We would recommend that you check to make sure that there are no recently installed fonts which might be conflicting with our Dashicon fonts. You can check your fonts under Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts
- Disable plugins or load the page in a private browsing session to ensure that a plugin conflict is not occurring.
- In Firefox, type about:config in the address bar, agree to the warning, and search for gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled. The “value” column should be set to true. This will only apply to Firefox but may be worth checking nonetheless.
- Have the user open the developer tools using the Menu > Developer > Inspector. In the right sidebar of the panel displayed, there is a “Fonts” tab which displays all fonts loaded for the current page. “Dashicons Regular” should be one of the fonts shown here.
- The Dashicon fonts themselves may be getting blocked by some setting in your firewall or antivirus. Unfortunately I can’t give any advice when it comes to these programs, but you may want to consult either of these.

The directions are specifically for Firefox, so let me know if you can’t find any of the menu items listed.
Let me know if any of those work for you. Happy new year!
