Pop up window for link to a simple currency converter / calculator

    Under the currency converter post / category on the right, there’s a link to a simple currency calculator. I would like for that link to pop up in a small window, so that users don’t have to navigate away to another tab in the browser. I am familiar with the “_blank target” option, but that is not the desired output. Can you please advise as to what’s the best way of doing this? I tried javascript, but it gets erased from the post’s HTML code.

    Hi Sophie. That’s because JavaScript is not allowed here on WordPress.com:

    You’ll have to settle for either a “_blank” target as you said, or find a Flash widget hosted on another website that could perhaps be inserted through the Gigya shortcode.
