Pop ups on website

  Hi guys.
  All of a sudden I’ve got pop-up ads on the website (advertising beds and mattresses!). I have searched in the forums for suggestions on how to rid myself of these things.
  TBH the answers were all a bit technical and jargon-y for me to understand.
  Could you explain to me how to get rid of these ads in very, very simple layman’s terms please?

  The ads display on free plans. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/

  To have them removed you would need to upgrade your plan. Let me know if you have any other questions about this.
