popup image please..

  Hello, I’m a newcomer to WordPress and, as I’m photoblogging,
  I would like to have one of those neats image popups plugins
  that shows a nice frame and the image in a popup screen.

  I cannot find a way to do this on my wordpress.com hosted blog
  and, as I can imaginge, a so-simple functionality must be available,
  but I can’t find the way to do it..

  Help me please ..

  capturevision, no plugins are allowed in wordpres.COM blogs. And you can’t create popups yourself using code, because they require javascript, which is also not allowed.

  But let me note that at the moment you’ve set your image links to Post URL; if you set them to File URL, then clicking on an image will open a new window with the full-size original alone. Won’t that do?

  But I think the template of the blog, for example the sidebar and the banner, are in the window that pops up. Although I agree with panaghiotisadam, isn’t that good enough?
