  Is there some way to have a popup window connected to a phrase in a post, so that when you click on that phrase you get a little window with, say, a definition?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  We do not have that ability within the links on WordPress.com, however what you can do is create links which have a “tool tip.” Tool tips are the little windows which appear when you hover over certain links and can contain any text you choose.

  To create a tool tip, you just need to create a link like usual. Select the text you want to make in to a link, and then click the link button. A menu will appear. The section which says “Title” is where you can type in the definition.

  Thanks for that amightywp. Thing is, people would be tempted to click the link to nowhere. And in fact might not even see the tooltip. Cool idea, though.
