Porn pop ups appearing in my blog
-
Porn pop ups are appearing in the lower right hand corner of my blog. They seem to pop up at random. At times the first click on the twitter or facebook button ( for sharing ) also leads to opening of a porn site. This problem started appearing from today – 23 Feb 2015.
Please let me know how this problem can be resolved immediately. Would rolling back to a previous date help resolve this issue ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Usually in cases like this, popups like you’re mentioning are as a result of either a virus/malware infection of your computer or alternatively you may have installed a browser addon or plugin recently which are causing them. We however do not use popups at WordPress.com at all.
The addons or plugins may have been installed without your knowledge from some other program which you recently installed on your PC. You should go through all of your installed addons and extensions and remove any which you are not 100% sure you installed.
The virus and/or malware issue is a bit more difficult. Just using your virus scanner isn’t always the best option, because like any program it too can be infected. There are several guides online on how to clean an infected computer, including this one from PC World: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2039995/when-malware-strikes-how-to-clean-an-infected-pc.html

Thank you for the reply. Will check and try your recommendation. I would like to add that this particular pop up appears only when easeindiatravel.com is opened in the browser and not for any other website. And the pop up appears in other computers too. The pop up appears in the form of a square window at the bottom right corner of the browser.

I apologize, however I have thoroughly tested your site again, clicking on twitter and facebook links on multiple pages and have been unable to replicate any popups. If you run across a page or button which consistently spawns the popup, please let me know and I’ll be happy to check it out.

Thank you for your prompt responses. We ran the online AV on the machines where we noticed the pop ups and they have stopped appearing now. Guess it was a local issue. Thank you once again for the support. Really appreciate.
