  Hi there,

  To use a domain you already own somewhere else with one of the WordPress.com sites in your account, first go to My Site ->Plans and buy a paid plan for the site you want to use.

  Then you have the option to either transfer your domain over to us completely, or just connect it to your site while leaving it registered at your current provider.
