Port Theme portfolio animations don't work when I sign out of WordPress.com

  I have created a website using WordPress.com and used the “Port” theme to design it. I am having an issue with my theme. The issue is that in the theme there are portfolios that use hover/blur effect whenever you hover the cursor or your finger over the images, along with that there should be a small rectangle with whatever text you insert to it for the name of each portfolio. My problem is that the effects/animations only work if I am signed in to my WordPress account. As soon as I hit sign out and I look at the website or anyone else visits the site the animations stop working. I have spoken with a Theme Trust author in a forum for
  the “Port” theme and he told me to contact someone from WordPress.com about this issue. Again I want to be clear, the hover/blur animation along with the text wrapped in a small rectangle that is supposed to appear when you hover a cursor or your finger over each of the portfolio images is not working when I am SIGNED OUT of my WordPress.com account. I have also tried the Port theme demo provided through WordPress.com and the animations also don’t work there when I am signed out of my account but do as soon as I sign in.
