Hi there,
The front page of your site is displaying your latest posts now. You need to change that setting. Please kindly follow the step in the following support page of Snaps theme. This page explains well how to set up your site on Snaps theme.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

Hi, yes unfortunately I have followed the info on that link as best as I can based on my understanding of it. This is my first time using WordPress so it’s all been trial and error and learn as you go. Thanks!

What I’m asking is how do you get the drop down menu when you go to click on portfolio so I can set up gallery’s as listed options?
-
Are you aware that you have two portfolio pages?
- 1. The automatically generated portfolio page: https://sabrinamockphotography.wordpress.com/portfolio/
- 2. The one linked to in your menu: https://sabrinamockphotography.wordpress.com/anniversaries/home/
The second one is a child page (with the slug “home”) of the page “Anniversary Gallery,” which has the slug “anniversaries.”
What I’m asking is how do you get the drop down menu when you go to click on portfolio so I can set up gallery’s as listed options?
I’m not sure whether you have a default pages menu displayed or a custom menu in the primary menu location (header). See the Custom Menus support page. To create a drop-down menu that includes links to your portfolio galleries, which are portfolio projects, you’ll have to use a custom menu, because the default pages menu can only include links to static pages, and the blog page. So if the present primary menu isn’t a custom menu, then you’ll have to replace it with one in order to achieve what you’ve described.
In the custom menu assigned as the primary menu, you would add menu items as described in the Add menu items section of the Custom Menus support page. You may add links to portfolio projects to the custom menu at Customize > Menus > Primary Menu (name) > Add items > Projects.
-
You would then create a drop-down menu consisting of projects (galleries) below the top-level menu item (“Portfolio”) as described and illustrated in the Organize your menu section of the Custom Menus support page.

I’ll pass on that question. Basically the only advice I follow in that respect is to try to create quality posts and pages with some lasting value.
