Portfolio Categories Not Showing Up

Hello,
I can’t see my categories (project types) or tags on my portfolio posts. Is there any way I can fix this? By the way, I’m using the Intergalactic 2 theme.

Hi there,
That theme doesn’t display project types and tags for portfolio projects. Those typically only display on themes that were specifically created for use with the Portfolio feature, and that’s not the case with Intergalactic 2. So portfolio projects will work fine in this theme, but they won’t display this type of information that’s very specific to the Portfolio content type.
Instead, this theme sees portfolio projects as just another post, which is why it’s trying to display categories (meaning post categories) at the bottom of single projects. To get rid of that “Categories” heading, go to Appearance ->Customize ->Content Options, and uncheck the Categories option there. Note this will hide the Categories section at the bottom of both portfolio projects and regular blog posts
