Portfolio Display on Homepage

    Hello ! I can’t get the portfolio to display on the front page like it does in the Argent Demo template (specifically, the types are showing up as underlined titles underneath the feature image linked to the porfolio & not in white, all caps that disappear when you hover over it like it does in the Argent Demo). I’ve gone through all the steps to create my porfolios and activate it on the front page, including adding the portfolio short code, but it’s still not working. Would love some help with this!

    Which steps? Have you followed the instructions found in the Argent theme guide?

    including adding the portfolio short code

    The front page of the Argent demo doesn’t include portfolio shortcode. However it does display a static page with the optional Front Page Template assigned. See the Template section of the Page Attributes support page for information regarding optional page templates.

    See also the “Portfolio Section on Front Page” section of the Argent theme guide for step by step instructions on including the optional portfolio section in a page with the front page template assigned.

    Also, the Argent demo displays all portfolio projects on the default portfolio archive page, the URL of which is the site URL with the word “portfolio” appended to the end of it, or “https://argentdemo.wordpress.com/portfolio/.”

    Your site isn’t launched yet, so it can’t be viewed by volunteers such as myself, but if you have one or more portfolio projects published on the site, then the portfolio should automatically display on the site’s default portfolio archive page: http://amatriceart.wordpress.com/portfolio, which you may provide a link to in a custom menu.

    Howdy –

    I’m following up on the modlook tag. It looks like you’ve been able to add “recent projects” towards the bottom of the front page of the site. Do you still need help with this?
