Portfolio drop down pages will not load

  I have my portfolio on my blog.
  All of the top layer pages will load, but none of the pages under my portfolio (which drop down when you put the arrow over the portfolio link).
  I have no idea what the problem is.
  I looked at the pages on another device, which did not make a difference.
  I am wicked busy with school and work, so I 100% do not have the time to delete and recreate the pages.
  I am applying for jobs so it is imperative that these pages actually work.

  The pages used to load and now they don’t? Are you sure they were pages and not posts? The difference can sometimes be confusing. Look in your WP Admin Dashboard (should be https://alwaysfireandhoney.wordpress.com/wp-admin/) and click down on the left side both where it says Posts and Pages. Let us know if you can find the missing pages/posts in either location.

  They are 100% pages. All of my blog posts are working just fine to my knowledge.
  In fact, when I go to the dashboard and click “edit” on a page, all of the information is just sitting there, it’s just that it won’t open on the site.

  I just noticed looking at your About this website page that you say your portfolio pages are password protected. Is there a page you could try setting the visibility on to public and see if it works that way? I’m not sure why it isn’t asking for a password if you have them set to password protected (particularly since the Salthaven Photography and Videography one is), but that could be something to check.
  Did they work at some point in the past or have they never worked?

  Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Are you using the Portfolio content type? That can result in a page not found error. Try using those instructions to disable and then re-enable the Portfolio content type.

  No, I only have the salthaven Photography and Videography page on portfolios/projects, what ever that is. All of them are supposed to be normal pages (seriously, they’re all on the pages thing). All of my top end pages work. Everything is the “default page”.

  Taking the passwords off made no difference.

  This is the message that I am getting:

  “Hi there. You seem to be lost.
  It looks like nothing was found at this location. Perhaps it was there but now it’s gone. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?”

  I have no idea what the problem is when my top level pages work, but the ones on the drop down menu do not

  There is something wrong with the drop down menu. I removed a few pages and now they work just fine.
