Portfolio embedding categories
-
Hello,
I will try to explain what I’ve been trying to do:
I created the website and i put two test images in the portfolio project thingies. What I would like is to sort them into different categories.
Currently, when you look at my website you see there’s a sub menu to portfolio called Taarten (means cakes btw).
I would like to put the projects with project type “Taarten” in that area. This way I want to create a nice and logical Portfolio instead of one big messy portfolio.
Just the embedding doesnt seam to work. I made the Taarten page and in it I put :
[portfolio display_types=true display_tags=false include_type=Taarten columns=3 showposts=10 orderby=date ]
But nothing happens, it says there’s nothing there. Am I doing something wrong or is it impossible?
Also if someone knows an easier way to create a categorized portfolio, please tell me!
I hope someone knows how to fix this!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I’m not sure why that shortcode doesn’t work for you. However, you can create a link to page displaying only projects of the type “Taarten” without using shortcode. Your project type archives page for the project type “Taarten” is here: https://lisannehollander.wordpress.com/project-type/taarten/. Use the Project Types module at the left of the (custom) Menus page to create a link to that page.Note that you also have a project tag archives page with the same content: https://lisannehollander.wordpress.com/project-tag/taarten/.
