Portfolio on Dashboard does not appear

  When using WordPress I want the Portfolio option to be visible from the dashboard but it does not appear? I have attempted to Activate Espied and Illustratr themes for it to appear, but no luck… As well as carrying out all the steps https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/ with no success.

  I have Jetpack installed and tried many varied options to try and install the Portfolio.

  Can’t think of what else to do – why does the Portfolio option not appear?
