Portfolio Problem
-
So, I’m having a lot of trouble with my Portfolio page. I have tried going through every resource I could find from WordPress and haven’t been able to solve this problem.
I created a portfolio page where I can upload my projects, and they show up in the Archive (www.steffanpedersen.com/portfolio), but don’t transfer over with the pictures into my menu page titled My Portfolio (www.steffanpedersen.com/my-portfolio). It wouldn’t allow me to title the menu page steffanpedersen.com/portfolio and would automatically change it over to /portfolio-1 when I tried to save it this way. Just wondering if anybody can help me fix this. I’ve put the short code [portfolio] into the My Portfolio page, but it just doesn’t show up as neatly. The pictures don’t transfer over, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I believe I’m using the theme titled “Untitled.”

Hi there,
Can you give these steps a try and see if it solves the issue?
- Navigate to your Menu page here:
https://steffanpedersen.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php
- It looks like you have a menu already created, but the menu isn’t saved. From the menu page, click “Save Menu”.
- Select the newly-saved menu under the Locations tab here:
https://steffanpedersen.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=locations
The menu is titled Menu 1 so we’ll want to make sure we have that menu active.
That should do the trick. Basically, we’re replacing your created page “My Portfolio” with the default “Portfolio” link. Can you give that a try and let me know if you run into any trouble?
