Portfolio projects order

  Hi there,

  I was wondering if I can manage the order of my Portfolio projects by myself, and not by the date they’re created. I´m using Illustratr Theme.

  Hi,

  As you’ve noticed, portfolio projects are ordered by creation date.

  You can use the Portfolio Shortcode (https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/) if you would like to manipulate which projects show up and in what order in a post or page.

  If you are looking to put your projects in a specific order, there is a work-around you can do. After you publish a project, on the right sidebar in the Publish section, there is a line that reads “Published on:” <date> followed by an Edit link. Click Edit. That pulls up the date and time the project was published along with OK and Cancel. You can then modify the date and time to move a project into a different chronological spot. This isn’t the most eloquent solution but it will give you the ability to order the projects as you would like.
