Portfolio Setting

    Dear staff,

Hi! Could you provide additional help vis. setting up a Portfolio page (or setting) for BLASK, which I am currently using. My site (ROAR) is intended to be used as an e-portfolio. So, the featured posts and blog posts on home page (?) are not suitable. Learning … but it is frustrating, I admit!

    Help.

    Best,
    RA

    Hi RA,

My site (ROAR) is intended to be used as an e-portfolio.

What is the address (URL) of the site you refer to? Is it a WordPress.com site? The site identified as the “blog I need help with” above, https://myroardotca.wordpress.com/, is untitled and has the AltoFocus theme applied.

  • Let us know if you still need help here!

If you decide to switch back to Blask, the first thing you’ll need to do is to add some portfolio projects to your site, as shown here:

    Create a Portfolio Website

Once you’ve added a couple of projects, you would set your front page to use a static front page. First, create a new page called Home. Go to the Customizer‘s Static Front page and choose that page as your static front page. Then, find the page in the editor and apply the Portfolio Page Template to it.

All the steps are also found in the Blask setup guide here: https://wordpress.com/theme/blask

Just let us know if you get stuck along the way!
