Portfolio settings

  I love integrating portfolios for so many uses in my own sites and my customers’ sites. Is there any way to have the item page come up in a new window when clicking on the thumbnail? It’s easy for people to navigate away from your portfolio page when the details come up in the same window.

  For instance, I am using this as a gallery for customers to choose a custom dozen of greeting cards from a gallery, and it’s confusing to some when they click an image, read about the card, then it isn’t always clear how to get back to browse more depending on their browsing device. On a customer site I am using it to create two galleries of upcoming events and past events on the same page using portfolio categories, but again when the event page comes up in place of the portfolio page they can’t figure out how to get back.

  Also, I want to display the title underneath the thumbnail, but I don’t like how it comes up in my theme, and I can’t determine where the CSS is to format it how I’d like it. Is it a caption, or one of the headline formats?

  If you are talking about websites that are using the standalone WP software hosted on 3rd party hosting, please head over to the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support for assistance. If you don’t have a username there, you can register one on that page.
