Portfolio shortcode to order projects from most recent to oldest

  What is the shortcode for a portfolio page that will order the projects from most recent to oldest? It seems to automatically put the oldest first and newest last and I would like the opposite.

  Howdy!

  At the moment, there isn’t a shortcode attribute for changing the display order for portfolio projects, just filtering them by type and tag. You can see the list of shortcode attributes available here:

  However, this does seem like a good idea and I’ve submitted it to our development team. I’ll add this forum thread to the ticket so we can update you if the feature becomes available.

  In the meantime, you can change the publish date and time on projects, just like you can on posts and pages, effectively changing the projects’ sort order. This would be my recommendation if you have a specific order in mind for how the projects should be displayed.
