Portfolio site has Project type as heading in Dyad 2
-
Hi there
I have come across a problem in the portfolio section. I have created 4 portfolios and classed them as products. Clicking on the menu button products takes me to the portfolio section. However, the title there says
Archives: Projects.
Is there a way on removing this or rename it with the word product? Many thanks

Hi
To begin with, your site is marked as private so no-one can see it unless you invite them to access your site. Here is some more information about how to either change your site’s privacy settings or invite people to access your site.
Based on your description, it sounds like you need to modify the post type’s template so it displays a different title. By default, Portfolio index pages behave like general WordPress archive pages so the title of the page listing all your projects states
Archives: Projects. In broad terms, a possible solution is to modify the specific archive template file to change this default behaviour and replace it with a custom section title. If you have access to the theme’s source code, you’d need to modify the theme files themselves to do this.

Hey all, it looks like this is a duplicate topic which was already answered at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/dyad2-portfolio-issue?replies=3#post-3058747 Please continue there if you have any other question on this subject.
@pauljacobson – Thanks for helping here. Please note the Duplicate tag in the tags section of this thread. :)
Also, if a site is marked Private by the owner, please do not ask to be invited to the site, but instead mark the thread for Staff with the MODLOOK tag. Thanks.
If you haven’t seen it yet, this support guide for forum volunteers has a lot of good information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-com-volunteers/
Cheers!
