Portfolio theme scrolling header

  Hi – I’m really struggling with the Portfolio theme at http://www.radiantenergy.com.au I want to upload a photo header that scrolls (like in the Portfolio demo) but a) the photo is too small and b) I can’t work out how to add more photos so they can scroll through. I also want to have the business name (Radiant Energy Systems) in the top left hand corner but can’t work that one out either! Thanks in advance.

  Hi!

  I’m happy to help you out with this. Let me address each issue individually:

  The photo is too small

  Can you let me know specifically what photo you’re referring to? If you just let me know the URL of the post or image, that would work! In general, you’ll want the images in the featured slider to be at least 860px by 450px.

  I can’t work out how to add more photos so they can scroll through.

  Can you try following the instructions under the heading “Setting up your Homepage” here?

  That will walk you through the process of setting up the homepage template and marking posts as featured so that they appear in the slider.

  The easiest way to do that would be to add it as a logo under Appearance -> Customize -> Site Logo. That’s the method the demo site is using. Can you give that a try?
