Portfolio woes
-
Hi, I’m currently trying to implement the Sketch theme to my wordpress that’s on my own domain and I’m trying to add the Portfolio option as instructed by this page https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/ but for the life of me it’s not working. When I click settings > writing there is no option for “Your Custom Content Types”
What am I doing wrong? I imagine it must be something straight forward, but I’m a total novice and a couple of hours googling didn’t help.
Thanks
Marc

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted by wordpress.COM. You are reading the wrong documentation for your theme version and you are posting to the wrong support forum.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -

Hi! I have the exact same problem. I am building my wordpress site using SKETCH through Network Solutions.
When I uploaded the JETPACK plugin– all the features I wanted in SKETCH appeared in my dashboard. I was thrilled, but JETPACK’s file size caused my site to freeze. So I removed it.
I don’t understand the answer given to Marc, and would appreciate more guidance. Thank you!

Nevermind. I think I understand now that I should be posting on the WordPress.com forum not here. Correct?
