Positioning Pictures and Putting them Behind Text

I’m new to WordPress and am wondering: how in the world do I move images round and position them behind texts?

Do you have an example of what you’re looking to achieve? In general, you wouldn’t really be able to lay the text over the image unless you use some type of photo editing software before you add the image to your library.

I wish I could attach an image to show you.
Basically, I want to have a header image with the menu over the right side of the image. Then I want to place a logo over the left side of the header image.
I also want to add an image to the left of my body text. -
@shangphoebe you could upload the image to your media library. It sounds like you’ll need to use custom CSS, at least, to achieve what you’re after though. You might even need to create a custom theme (which would require the business plan.) But if you’ll upload what you’ve got and link here, perhaps we can recommend a theme that already does something similar.
