Posits not appearing in Categories

On dashboard, Menu doesn’t show under Appearance. Also posts to Categories are not appearing on site pages. I’ve tried the fixes suggested by AI but cannot get it to work. Have done this before on my other site and no problems.

On the new themes that work with the more flexible Site Editor, the menus are managed directly within the site editor; that’s why the Menu option does not show up under Appearance.

The Menu option will show up under Appearance only if you’re using a classic theme. However, we strongly recommend giving the Site Editor a go (let us know if you need help when setting it up). It’s more customizable and lets you see your site as you’re working on it.
Also posts to Categories are not appearing on site pages
Could you share the links to the pages where they are not appearing?
Note that if it’s a regular page, you will need to insert either a Query Loop block or a Blog Posts block and then set up the appropriate filters so that posts from certain categories are displayed.

I didn’t reply because I lost my connection at that point and couldn’t find the thread later. I have sincerely tried to master the new Site Editor but I’m lost. How do I switch to a theme that supports the Classic Editor, a system that has served me well on my other blog for years.?
