Possible ‘black hole’ in notifications.

  I was formerly a prolific commenter on someone else’s site. He has now made me an author.

  The problem is when that happened, the rules for being notified when commenting on another site no longer apply. I was being notified of any like or reply to a comment. Now that’s no longer true. I’m being notified of likes but not replies to comments, because there IS NO OPTION on ‘your own site’ to be notified of replies to comments on a post authored by someone else.

  This makes it impossible for me to meaningfully interact with people by commenting on other peoples’ posts on a site I am an author on.

  Actually, no, the issue arises on wqth.wordpress.com, where I’ve been added as an author.

  This might be a “never mind.” I’m now getting the desired notifications, even though none of the labels seems like it would apply.

  Thanks and sorry for wasting peoples’ time on this.

  Please feel free to wipe this issue out of existence or whatever you do to “junk.”
