Possible Hack?

  I was just notified by another Administrator that we got hit really hard with a lot of readers over a thousand, when we average two to three hundred a day? How can we see if attempts have been made to hack our sight? please help?

  If your site incurs too high of traffic we will notify you. Change your WordPress.com user account password if you are concerned about security and enable 2 factor authorization on your account. Let me know if you have any questions about doing that.
