Someone has logged into my wordpress account when I was not active on it for a year. The email associated with my wordpress account also received 2 WP contact forms, one which has a link containing malware and another impersonating me with an email associated with my website trying to sell fitness equipment. What should I do?
WP.com: Unknown

We can’t help you as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is using the open source wordpress.org, https://digital.com/best-web-hosting/who-is/#search=wellnessfanatic.com.
On the wordpress.com platform we take care of security, as you are using wordpress.org, you’ll have to take care of security yourself. Support for your site is at https://wordpress.org/support/ -
Wait no. Im running on worpress.com though, Im sure about that. Im using jetpack for security. I had started the website 1.5 yrs ago then left it alone because I didnt know what to write.

No you aren’t. Your site is running on the Bluehost servers and uses the open source wordpress.org `<meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 5.8.2″ />’
You have installed the Jetpack plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/ -
meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 5.8.2″
Hi there, your WordPress site wellnessfanatic.com is hosted with Bluehost, but is connected to WordPress.com through Jetpack.
If you have security concerns about your WordPress site, I’d recommend first contacting your web host. https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/contacting-support If they say this is a WordPress issue, you can head over to https://wordpress.org/support/forums where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
