Possible hijacked link

When I googled a post from my blog, thoughtman.org, the google return said that the link was unsafe. http://thoughtmanagement.org/2015/02/26/vexatious-what-the-public-sector-calls-a-troll/
It said that the connection was not private and attackers were trying to possibly steal the contact details.

    Hi Lawrence,

The link you gave me is entirely safe. Could you please let me know the search term you used to find the post?

Also, could you copy/paste the warning message you received? It would also be very helpful for me to see a screenshot of the message, and I can let you know why it occurred. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.

The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

    Take a Screenshot

Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Hi, I tried to post the screenshot the other night, but I could not get it to post to this page. I could not copy the text. I grabbed a screen shot and placed it on word document however, I did not save a copy at the time.

The first time, in the technical advanced page, it showed the link going to GoDaddy.

Then, when I went back a second time, it said the privacy was compromised. The https had a redline through it and the text said something like the privacy certificate at this site .wordpress.com does not match.

I did to keep a copy of the screenshot at the time. What i did was I reloaded the blogpost and changed the title slightly. Instead of Vexatious: What the public sector call a troll? I changed it to Vexatious what the public sector call a troll.

I then deleted the old post to avoid, if possible, people being sent to that site or getting the warning. So far, the new blog post seems to work without problem.

The search terms I used were “public sector trolll” and “Serewicz public sector troll”

I only had the privacy problem with Google. I searched through Duck Duck Go and there was no privacy warning. I also did a search on a mobile platform, which was Google, and the warning did not appear.

I am concerned that the post might have been targeted because of the title. However, my main concern was whether the domain I have thoughtmanagement.org had been compromised.

    Hey!

The https had a redline through it and the text said something like the privacy certificate at this site .wordpress.com does not match.

    That’s actually fine.

When you connect to your Dashboard over an HTTPS connection, we use an SSL certificate to encrypt your connection. SSL certificates need to be signed to a specific domain, and we can’t provide certificates for every mapped domain, so our certificate is signed for WordPress.com.

When you connect to your Dashboard via your own domain but your security software sees a certificate signed to http://wordpress.com/ it’s alerting you that WordPress.com may be intercepting your connection, which of course is perfectly fine. You may also see this warning if you attempt to reach your blog (not your Dashboard) using “https” instead of “http” in your blog URL.

Most security systems should have a way to add a permanent exception so you will never see the warning again in this instance.

This is how you adjust your Chrome browser so it knows your site is safe:

Your domain (thoughtmanagement.org) is safe and secure.

If you see this problem again in the future, please document it with screenshots. Then, you can upload those screenshots to your Media Library and I can take a look at them.

I searched with the terms you used on Google, and I’m sent right to your site, without trouble.

Please do keep in touch about this, and let me know if the issue arises again.

    Thank you so much!
