Hi there, you’re posting in a public forum so I’ve redacted the link to accept the follow invite from your above post. If you don’t wish to follow that site, you can ignore the email you received.

Regardless I’ve gone ahead and tagged this for Staff attention to see if there is an issue with that site.

    Hi kfernandez2013,

The email you received was sent from our system. As @justjennier mentioned, the email can be ignored if you do not wish to follow the site.

@justjennifer — I can’t see any issues with the site itself but I’ll run this past our developers.

Hope it’s ok to piggyback here…I’ve had my business blog on wp for several years. Now, all of a sudden within the past two weeks I am getting two of these same type of invitations to non-existent blogs every single day. My concern is that even though these are being sent through your system, it may be for nefarious reasons. If I didn’t get them every day, and if it never happened until recently…and more importantly, if the blogs were actual blogs…it wouldn’t be curious. But for none of these sites to have content? Why? And why all of a sudden now?

  • drcsr180020418 – no worries and thanks for getting in touch.

Are these coming from different sites, or is it always the same one? Can you share the blog address(es)?

I don’t have last weeks anymore…today’s picks that have come in so far are /signingagenttraining.wordpress.com
    Invited from
    magezero

(Remove the / at the beginning. My fat fingers on my iPhone won’t let me!)

Surpringly, this one has a post. But it’s a spam looking word salad one from a few years ago.

    Also today….

    https://aspie55.wordpress.com/

The invitation for that one came from a
    maruqumi

Again, it seems innocent enough IF I had gotten these periodically over the last five or so years. But these are the first and they have been almost every day starting last week. All zero content blogs, except for word salad up there and one more that I forgot from last Thursday….I’ll have to look in deleted emails later for the rest.

  • Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve had a look at the initial 2 you’ve provided. Once I hear back with the others I am going to talk with our Security team.
