possible to add a flash object as a widget in sidebar?

i’m helping set up a blog for a music artist and was wondering if its possible to add a widget that i can paste the flash code for automatically updating tour date info (from either iLike or Jambase ideally).

Jambase allows widget creation along with code but its in flash. is there a box ala the text box widget that would allow me to paste this code?

thanks so much for any and all help!

I have the same question: how to embed flash files into my blog. My blog is INteeMIDATION.com

I just paid $10/yr to forward my domain and now I can’t figure out how to insert the Zazzle flash widget…which, by the way, was part of the reason to forward the domain and start using WordPress.

    Help!

Can you not incorporate a zazzle flash panel as a widget on wordpress? (scarletsblog.wordpress.com)

Javascript, flash, iframes and forms are not allowed due to security concerns and will be stripped out by the wordpress software. The exception to this is approved video stuff.
