Possible to add live link to text widget in sidebar (Pilcrow)?

  Hi

  Sorry if this is a silly question; I’ve been reading the WP support stuff and watching a couple of videos on the topic but can’t find the answer:

  Is it possible to have live links in text added via the text widget in the secondary sidebar (Pilcrow)?

  I’ve used the text widget to display excerpts from a few other posts and would like to add a link to the full version of the post either by making the heading a live link, or adding a live link in the text. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.
