Possible to create forum on wordpress.com site?

  Is it possible to create a forum on a free wordpress.com site? I have a group of writers who want to create a critiquing group where we can read each others writings and make suggestions.
  would need to be able to make different threads to accommodate this.
  Is it a possibility?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It wouldn’t have to be on my storybookster site, it could be a new site if necessary…

  At present there are no chatboxes or forums I am aware of that can be embedded into free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access and we cannot install plugins.
