Possible to Post Feed on Page–not Sidebar?
-
Some of entries on my blog are announcements of upcoming events. I would like the titles of these entries collected and listed on the Events page elsewhere on my wordpress.com site.
This sounds like a situation for using a feed, but I can’t figure out how to post a feed onto a PAGE (I can only post it onto the sidebar).
Note that I’m not trying to collect a feed from a ‘page’ (as opposed to blog), as I understand that’s not possible with wordpress.com. I’m trying to do the opposite: collect the feed from my blog and post it to a PAGE.
Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to do what I’m attempting? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Create and Mark those Posts with a Category called “Events” and then make your Events Page link to the Category. Read more about this here.
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/page-tabs-as-external-links/Instead of linking to an external link, use the full (not relative) category link in your Page title, which would be something like http://mcdonaldcentre.wordpress.com/category/events/

That’s very helpful. Thanks so much. How can I determine what the cateory link page is? For example, you said it would be something like:
http://mcdonaldcentre.wordpress.com/category/events/Should this be listed in my dashboard under Pages->Category, or where?
Thankss again.

Put the category widget in your sidebar, start using that category for those posts, and you can get the link from the widget.
