Possible to use purchased domain and hosting on free plan?

    Is it possible to use my domain with a free plan? Or do I need to upgrade?

    I also have a theme I purchased from StudioPress. From viewing the pricing page: https://wordpress.com/pricing/, it seems as if I must upgrade to premium in order to install this theme.

    I just want to confirm if this is correct? Thank you.

    You’ll need to upgrade to any of our plans in order to use your domain.

    it seems as if I must upgrade to premium in order to install this theme.

    To be able to install any third-party theme like yours you’ll need to upgrade to the Business plan. All other plans do not support theme uploading.
