Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)

I’m seeing someting odd under my posts and before the comments.
I have no special plug in but I’m getting something that says,”Possibly Related Posts: (Automatically generated)” followed by three links to other people’s blogs. How do I remove this?See the link below:
-
On your Dashboard, go to Design – Extras – and check the box that says ‘Hide Possibly Related Posts’.
-
There is a big search box at the top of the forums and searches are a blogger’s friend ;)

On the new dashboard layout go to Appearance – Extras – and check the box that says “Hide related links on this blog….”

Still, it is not clear what the downside (if any) are for turning off this feature. In which post of my search would I expect to find this info? I hate using a search function, when my results always say I should use the search function… The info about turning it off was useful though.

When people see the links on your blog, it can end up taking them off of your blog and to other sites. It can also bring back totally unrelated links.
-
“… if you remove related posts from your blog we’ll remove you from other people’s blogs, so you won’t get traffic from that.”
In my experience, I’ve gotten a few hits from this feature.
