Post´s featured image cropping
-
I would like to know if it is possible to control or regulate the way the post´s featured images are cropped to be displayed in the home page´s post mosaic… So far all my post´s featured images are zoomed in and cropped automatically to be tiled together in the front page, but often the result are an extremely zoomed in bit of the original image that looses in quality and doesn’t recall the root idea.
Any ideas? thank you so much!

Hi there, the images are cropped by the theme PHP script files, center-weighted, and we cannot edit those files, and given the wide variety of image content you have, trying to come up with a way to fit all scenarios may be difficult.
What I might suggest, since the single post pages have maximum image widths of 800px, would be to downsize your images before uploading to a maximum of 800px wide. This would at least show more of your image on the main page grid. You might give it a try and see how that works.
