I am unable to post text to my blog

Hello,
When I first created my blog I could post a blog, however when I added one of the themes that were free was when I encountered my problem. I go to my post icon select it, it than goes to a screen where it ask what type of post am I trying to do text-photo-exc, when I select text no new screen appears where I can upload text.

Do go there at at all. Go directly to Dashboard >Posts > All Posts > Add New http://raemccunesportfolio.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php and let us know how you make out.

Hi there!
You’re probably having this issue with the post editor because of the version of browser you’re using. Here’s some information on the most recent versions of the most popular browsers:
If your browser is more than two version old, not all websites will display properly.
Because of this, timethief’s suggestion of using the editor in the dashboard is perfect. You shouldn’t have any issues there.
