post and menu
-
Hello I am new on wordpress.
Once I am in my menu, I would like to have all my posts that are on one item of the menu but I can’t get it. The only thing I managed to have is to have a list of all the posts under a category. But I would like to be able to click on a category (ex: ART) and to have all posts related to it. But I do not need to have the name of the posts. Can you help?
Thanks

Hi there. What you need to do is set up category pages.
Blog posts by default appear on your home page (main feed) in reverse chronological order. You cannot prevent posts from publishing on the main feed, but you can set up category pages that will only display posts that have a certain category assigned. You’ll need to create a custom menu in order to use category pages. See these articles for comprehensive instructions:

http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/To not have your main feed appear on the home page you’ll need to assign a static page as your home page. Instructions to do that here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/You cannot assign a category page as your home page.
Before you do any of this, you might want to first work through the tutorial here: http://learn.wordpress.com/
