Post appearance at the front page

    Hi guys,

I am currently working on my personal web page lifeisgreatproject.com

I am using Motif theme, which is one of the free themes available. I am wondering how do I change appearance of my posts at the front page. They are posted in full length, but I would prefer them to be shown shorter, like first paragraph or something like that – with button “read more” or something like that.

I tried to fix this through dashboard “settings – reading – For each article in a feed, show – summary” but this didn’t do anything. Is this because of the prescript theme options, or is it something else?
My main question is. In order to have posts presented in the form I described above, do I need to use other theme, or may I somehow fix my current theme?

    Thanks for your answers.

    Regards, Frank

Nope, you must use the more tag (<!–more–>) for that:
