post as a page

  I have made my layout a portfolio. One post tho, I want to be a page (I think), because I want to create an on-going blog of this one, singular project.
  How can I do this?
  And, if I do post blog comments, do they appear in the side bar?

  Also – I did create a ‘test’ page, but it doesn’t show up anywhere….how do I make this visible?

  Hi there, let me try to answer each of your questions. :)

  How can I do this?

  You can’t have multiple, completely separate blogs on a single site — any post you create on that site will be part of the same blog. However, you can have pages that only show a certain subset of posts from your blog.

  For example, if you create a category called “Project” for your project, you can add the Project category to all of the posts about that project. Then, you can make a link in your site’s menu to the category page for the Project category. Only the posts in that category will appear on that page.

  If you want the posts for this project to be completely separate from your existing blog, you can create a new site just for that one project. You can sign up for a new blog by going to your My Blogs page and clicking on “create another blog” in the sidebar. Then, you can link to that blog from your current one.

  And, if I do post blog comments, do they appear in the side bar?

  Comments on any of your blog posts will appear in the comments section at the bottom of that post. If you’d like your blog comments to appear in the sidebar, too, you can add a Recent Comments Widget under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard.

  You have a Custom Menu set up on your site. Only the pages you add to that custom menu will show up in the menu. You can add pages and links to your menu under Appearance > Menus in your dashboard.
