Post being repeted on Facebook

  Our blog posts to Facebook and Twitter. Currently if we post more than once in a 24 hour period it will repost our last blog post to our Facebook timeline. Can you please help us with this problem? thank you for your assistance.

  Hello there!

  While your connection appears to be setup correctly on our side, I am going to have you detach it, and reconnect your Facebook publicize option.

  Here are the instructions:

  Let me know how the next set of posts works out for you. If you get repeats, please take a screenshot that displays the issue on your Facebook page, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.

  Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.

  Also, please confirm for me that you don’t have any outside connection between Twitter and Facebook that auto-publishes your Tweets to Facebook.

  We have applied the reconnecting procedure you provided. We do not have any outside connection between Twitter and Facebook that auto-publishes our Tweets on Facebook.

  Hey there!

  These images are very helpful for me to see.

  What you’re viewing on your Facebook wall is not actually WordPress.com publicizing twice. This is the way Facebook collects several posts from a similar source, all published during a specific time span.

  We cannot change Facebook’s configuration, so your only solution is a manual one:

  1. To avoid posting more than once within a certain window of time.
  2. To manually post your links to your WordPress.com posts on Facebook.

  I’m sorry this isn’t something we can change for you! I wish I could be of more help.
