Post by email are not showing up

  I have been messing around with the “Post By Email” option and have only gotten it to work once out of about 20 times.

  I am using a gmail email address to send the emails, and I am using the “post.wordpress.com” emails generated inside the Dashboard->My Blogs page to send the emails to, however nothing is showing up in my blog. Are there any other settings, or anything else I might need to adjust in order to get posting by email working 100% of the time?
